GOAL: How do the emotional states of the four current Olin College class years compare to each other through the lyric sentiment of their top Spotify tracks?
Using Spotify's, Genius's, IBM Cloud's NPL, and Google Translate's API, we collected the top song tracks of randomly selected Olin students. Using this data, we performed lyric sentiment analysis and tracked the trends of the different emotional states.
